Hilton Garden Inn
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Client Issue: In the bustling city of Grand Rapids Michigan, a Hilton Garden Inn with 144 rooms was being planned with an adjacent restaurant to form a high-class hospitality destination. With the city’s Ford Airport close by, the project was fulfilling the need of having a nearby location to stay and eat while also making use of a vacant site in an ideal area.
FrameCo’s Solution: Teaming up with local developer Suburban Inns, FrameCo supplied 23 truckloads of wall panels to the Grand Rapids site, fabricating over 74,300 square footage of panels. Besides providing load bearing wall panels to support the structure of the building, our team also built several levels of complex parapet framing to enhance the architectural flair of the hotel. With a banquet and meeting space, an indoor Michigan-shaped pool, and an oversized recreation area within, having FrameCo wall panels encasing the outside gave this high-quality hotel the perfect finishing touch.
Total sq. feet of material: 74,300
